Try It Out

Our cry detection algorithm takes an audio sample then performs source separation to isolate cry from non-cry sounds. It is effective even in the presence of overlapping and non-overlapping sounds. By separating only infants’ cry sounds we are then able to perform precise acoustic analysis on it to predict pathology. See examples below.

Non-overlapping sounds

ubenwa segmentation analysis
Listen to extracted cry
Listen to extracted other sound

Overlapping sounds

ubenwa segmentation analysis
Listen to extracted cry
